

Jeffrey Tredwell co-founded Diabetex Corporation, now XLHealth, the leading disease management company in the country and now a major health plan in the unique chronic disease space with annual revenues of greater than $1 billion. He is past Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer and currently serves on the Board of Directors with additional responsibilities attached to the compliance and quality oversight committee of the board.
Dr. Tredwell is a founding member of the Afton Group, founded to create, acquire and/or invest in early-stage, next generation health care companies where he serves as Vice Chairman.
Dr. Tredwell established the Screening Methodology for Co-Morbity Rate Surveillance of Complications Associated with Diabetes. The clinical and financial outcomes from these methodologies have received national and international recognition. Dr. Tredwell’s protocols and methodology for prediction and prevention of lower extremity disease leading to multiple hospitalizations, surgeries and amputation and diabetes disease management are now practiced in populations throughout North America and Europe.
Dr. Tredwell graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, in 1972 and completed his residency in podiatric medicine and foot surgery at Monsignor Clement Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Warren, Michigan. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons and Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
